St. Joseph’s to Upgrade Electronic Records

Share

Saint Joseph’s Medical Center will create an integrated electronic health record system, funded by a $19.6 million state grant. The investment comes on top of a previous $20 million state grant that was used to modernize and renovate operating rooms.

The state health department has provided $300 million in new funding to more than 50 state hospitals in its most recent funding round.

The new system gives Saint Joseph’s a record system that will allow a patient’s records to be accessed from any of its facilities.

A Thursday press conference announcing the grant brought together local government leaders, state officials and the hospital’s top management.
