What’s your favorite local beer? With so many options to choose from in County, it’s easy to gather and celebrate National Beer Day!

Beer is the most popular alcoholic beverage in the world. So, it’s no surprise there is a whole day dedicated to honoring the fragrant and bubbly beverage. For more than 11,000 years, brewers have been combining barley, water, and yeast to create a wide variety of beers—from lager and pilsner to stout and ale.

Westchester County has a proud brewing tradition and was even home to the bustling Westchester County Brewing Co. from 1910 to 1920. Although the pre-Prohibition Era brewery is no longer operational, a renaissance of local craft brewers is giving the region reason to celebrate delicious beer any day of the year.

Here’s a sample of local craft breweries for you to visit on April 7th—National Beer Day!
