The Hillcrest Lakers traveled to Las Vegas to compete in the national flag football championship on Saturday Feb 4th, 2023. This event is part of the activities during the Pro Bowl Weekend.
The 12-year-old and under team won a spot in the championship after winning the regional competition that was hosted by the New York Jets. After securing their spot in the championship, The Hillcrest Lakers even practiced in the Jets training facility.
We’ve trained and worked hard, so I think we have a good shot at winning it.
Max D’Arienzo – Hillcrest Lakers player
