The Excel Group announced on Tuesday Dec 13 their acquisition of the Hampton Inn & Suites in Yonkers. The Arlington/DC based investment firm now adds 150 rooms to its already 5,632 room nationwide portfolio.

The hotel is located on the northwest side of Yonkers off of Corporate Ave sandwiched between N Broadway and the Sawmill Parkway.
This acquisition affirms the City of Yonkers‘, and Mayor Mike Spano’s assertion that developments such as Lionsgate Studios and MGM are drivers for increased investment in the area.
