Nepperhan, SW Yonkers Boil Water Advisory Lifted

Yonkers residents effected by recent boil water advisories can now stop taking that precaution, the county said in a release Friday afternoon. The advisory applied to blocks on Moquette Row North and Nepperhan Avenue, as well as to much of Southwest Yonkers.  The advisory has been in effect since Monday. Ground water infiltration was a risk posed following a recent water main break. The advisory was lifted follwing satisfactory tests results taenby the Yonkers Water Bureau.
