Cesar Rojas, a 33-year-old resident of Yonkers, was apprehended by authorities and charged with fourth-degree stalking, following an alleged encounter with a female student from John Jay High School in East Fishkill.
The East Fishkill Police Department announced on Monday that the arrest came after a concerned citizen reported a suspicious man approaching a female student across from John Jay High School last Tuesday. According to the report, the man not only approached the student but also proceeded to follow her in his vehicle. Futhermore, it was later discovered that he had also approached two other female students in an off-campus area on the same day.

Upon receiving the complaint, detectives from the East Fishkill Police Department initiated a thorough investigation to identify and locate the suspect. The investigation was aided by the Yonkers Police Department. Their efforts culminated in the arrest of Cesar Rojas this past Sunday.
Following his arraignment, Rojas was released on his own recognizance, with an appearance ticket issued. Additionally, he was served with an order of protection. The order mandates him to maintain a considerable distance from the victim and her school.
