Patricia Ann Scott, a resident of the Bronx, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2024 at the age of 67.Patricia Ann Scott (Pat) was born June 28th 1956 in Kingstree, SC. to the late Frances and John Scott. She was the oldest of 10 children. Her parents relocated to the Bronx in NYC in Pat’s younger years and she attended PS.75 and JHS.123 in the Bronx. She graduated from Brandeis High School and went on to further her education at Lehman College in the Bronx, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for a prestigious firm during the 80’s and Sales Assistant during the 90’s. She was then motivated to pursue a career of service in the nursing field. She received her nursing certificate because of her passion to help others. She was employed by “Partners in Care” from 2002 in conjunction with “The Visiting Nurse Service” of New York. Because of her calm and caring demeanor, she was always requested by her patients to return. Patricia had a gentle soft tone in speaking and was easy to talk to with all her nieces and nephews and was their favorite aunt. She also enjoyed calling her sisters and talking politics and recipes. Movies was also her favorite pastime. Also she enjoyed our family cookouts and being together on the holidays. Being the oldest, she was looked up to by all her siblings and was a great example of patience and kindness. Patricia is pre-deceased by her mother, Frances and father, John Scott; brother’s, De`Anthony Scott and Anthony Richardson and sister, Vicky Scott. She is survived by her only son, Marc Scott; brothers, Leard & David Scott and sisters, Cheryl Vaughn, Tracy Scott, Robin Richardson and Geneva Scott. Also Aunts, Mary Paige and Elizabeth Gilchrist of Durham, NC and Caletha Rivers of Kingstree, SC.; Uncle Keith Gilchrist of Durham, NC.; Brothers-in-law, Terence Vaughn and Fredrick Williams of Pennsylvania; Sisters-in-law Lisa Scott and Biola Odunewu and Nieces Malika Scott, Malakiya Beeks, Chelsea & Taylor Vaughn, Emani Oliver, Surraya Scott, Latrice Scott, Brittany Scott and Kiana Scott; Nephews, Eric Scott, Umar Abdul-Malik, Parnell & Tyrell Vaughn, Darren Walcott, Rodney & Fredrick Williams, Elijah Scott, De`Anthony Nugent, Leard Scott Jr. and Zachariah Scott and many more great nieces & nephews. Patricia will be greatly missed with her infectious smile and loving personality. We love and appreciate Patricia Scott for the time she has given us. God has truly gained a heavenly Angel to watch over us all.The family will be present on Friday, March 29th from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM with a funeral service beginning at 10:00 AM at Ruggiero & Son, Inc.
