U.S. News and World Report released its annual ranking of the nation’s best schools–including the eight public schools in Yonkers.
The rankings provide data on thousands of public high schools across the United States. These schools are ranked based on their performance on state assessments and their ability to prepare students for college.
The below Yonkers Public Schools are listed by their rank within the Yonkers School District. The College Readiness score is defined as “the proportions of 12th graders who took and earned a qualifying score on at least one AP or IB exam. Earning a qualifying score is worth three times more than just taking.”
