Deiandre Phillips and Ricky Towns were arrested in recent days over two shootings that occurrent in earlier this month.
On January 20th, 2023, there was a shooting on St. Joseph’s avenue that resulted in a victim being struck. Four days later on Jan 24th, another shooting on Beaumont Circle occurred also resulting in gunshot victims. All of the victims survived their wounds.
The Yonkers Police Department apprehended the unrelated suspects soon after. They both now face attempted murder charges.
This information came from a series of tweets by the YPD in which they state:
“If you commit acts of violence in the [City of Yonkers] you will be caught; you will be charged; and the [YPD] will do everything in its power to make sure you are held accountable for your actions.”
