Sheek Louch Drops New “Gorillaween” Mixtape for Halloween

As Halloween enveloped the nation, hip-hop fans were in for a spooky treat as prominent rapper Sheek Louch gifted them with new a mixtape to celebrate the eerie season.

Sheek Louch, the Yonkers native and member of The LOX, marked his return to the haunting Gorillaween mixtape series. After a brief hiatus in 2021, Sheek Louch treated his fans to the highly anticipated continuation of the Gorillaween series, satisfying their craving for more music.

His fifth installment, Gorillaween 5, consists of eight tracks. The tracks feature assists from rap luminaries such as Raekwon, Dyce Payne, and Tony Moxberg. The production credits on the project are equally impressive, with beats crafted by the likes of Luxury Music, Big Snype Beats, Jimmy Dukes, Tone Mason, and more.

In the lead-up to Gorillaween 5, Sheek Louch delivered his most recent project, Beast Mode 5, which hit streaming services in November 2022. This album featured collaborations with fellow LOX members Jadakiss and Styles P, as well as hip-hop heavyweight Fat Joe.

As Halloween fades into the rearview mirror, the vibes of Gorillaween 5 will undoubtedly continue to haunt hip-hop playlists.
